If you recall, Brittney Guzman was the youngest cast member of Lifetime’s hit show Little Women LA. Her brunette tresses and spunky personality made her a standout on the popular series. Since exiting the show, her work ethic has seen no slow. The professionally trained dancer, who has toured with Miley Cyrus, is gearing up to release her own clothing line. We recently sat down with Britt and she gave us the tea as to what fans should expect in the near future, what tour life is like, and some words of inspiration. Check it out below!
SB: What are you currently working on?
BG: I’m currently working on my own clothing line of Freakabritt merchandise, from clothes to jewelry to makeup to hats and so much more!
How did you get involved with ‘Little Women LA’?
I’ve known all the girls from the show since I was younger. My parents are actors, so I would always see them at auditions. They’ve been begging me to be on the show since I was on tour, so once the tour was over I said, Let’s give it a shot and try this out!” The rest was history.
What was it like touring for Miley Cyrus?
Working with Miley was amazing on so many levels! She’s a phenomenal artist. We would just feed off of each other on stage while next to each other.
She wasn’t just someone I danced for. We became really good friends. She’s a very loving and caring person. I had the time of my life. Who can say they’ve traveled the world at 21?
Who are some other artists you’ve worked with?
I’ve worked with numerous of artists from Cali Swag District, Snoop Dogg, Colbie Caillat, Kid Rock, The Rejectz, Audio Push, Compton AV, Kurupt, Tyga, and Metallica .
What’s next for Brittney?
My own spinoff! More dancing and maybe some movies in the future. You’re going to have to just wait on it! Stay tuned.
What’s the craziest fan experience you’ve had?
The craziest fan experience I had was this time when I was on tour. We were in Barcelona at the arena rehearsing before the show started. And one of the staff members came up to me and said, “There’s a bunch of fans screaming for you by the gate.” So I went to go look and there were tons of kids screaming “Freakabritt.” I went towards the gate and they just wanted me to touch their hands and take selfies with them. They where screaming there heads off, and it was the best feeling ever!
What advice would you give to aspiring dancers?
I know everyone always says, “Don’t give up,” but seriously you can’t give up on something you’re passionate about. Try everything, even if you think it’s not possible because it never hurts to just try it.
When you’re not dancing, what do you enjoy doing for fun?
When I’m not dancing I love to buy shoes, especially sneakers. I’m obsessed! I’m not really a girl that wears heels so I have tons of sneakers. I also love to travel and go to different places for fun.
