Atlanta native Trinidad James always keeps a busy itinerary. Whether he’s penning for Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” dropping a viral music video (that prompts a comeback from legendary Mystikal), or grabbing a moment to shop and shoot hoops–he’s always up to something and keeping fans on their toes.

After his recent #JustALilThick pop-up party in Brooklyn, I thought what better time to chat with the “All Gold Everything” originator? Carving a moment into the NYC hustle-and-bustle, Trinidad and I stopped by Mikey Likes It Ice Cream and chopped it up about everything under the sun.
