Mentally Hip-Hop, Smoothed Out in R&B, Bell Biv Devoe Deliver ‘Three Stripes’ LP

After releasing the “I’m Betta” visual at the beginning of the week, Bell Biv Devoe made their heroic return with their first album in 16 years titled, “Three Stripes.” Prefaced by the saying, “Our music is mentally hip-hop smoothed out on the R&B tip with a pop feel to it,” the 10-track album calls on the likes of Boyz II Men, SWV and Doug E. Fresh like it’s 1996 all over again.
