14 Years Ago From Today, 50 Cent’s ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin” Album Was Released

Time really does fly, and looking at today’s calendar date has me feeling very nostalgic. Exactly 14 years ago from today, 50 Cent unleashed his Get Rich of Die Tryin’ album. It marked the biggest first album from any hip-hop artist ever, selling over 14 million albums to date.

The album is a timeless piece of art on hip-hop’s timeline, with hits like “What Up Gangsta,” “In da Club,” “21 Questions,” and lots more. Today, we commemorate hip-hop OG (wow I feel old saying that myself) 50 Cent and his contribution to rap with Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

Take a ride back with us and watch the visual for “In da Club” below!
