Lupe Fiasco Offers Up Some “DROGAS” on New Album, DROGAS Light

Lupe Fiasco’s first foray into the world of indie hip-hop lands with an astonishing boom.DROGAS Light, one-third of Lupe’s (apparent) swan song, is Lupe at his most freed state of mind, compared to some of his recent projects. Featuring collaborations with artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, Gizzle, Rick Ross and Big K.R.I.T., the 14-track album keeps the heads ringing while still offering up Lupe’s patented offerings of peace, love, and getting right with oneself. Lupe himself described the album as more “light” than a lot of his work, and that freedom shines through, from concepts to actual lyrics.

Now, as I tend to say, I’ll shut up and let you vibe with the drogas Lupe gives us.
