A week after releasing his self-titled album, Future took to FBG Radio on Beats 1 to premiere his newest project, HNDRXX. The 17-track project, which features Rihanna and The Weeknd, as well as production from DJ Mustard and Metro Boomin, serves as Future’s most ‘honest’ project to date. Of course, between court days with regards to his personal life, as well as his music career, the album introduces a more vulnerable side of the ATL artist – consider it the Suit to his Sweat.
“’HNDRXX’ is more personal. This is the Honest album I was supposed to have been honest about. When it was time to have the Honest album [in 2014], I was like, ‘Okay.’ I was just using it as a title instead of being able to actually be honest in the music. This is it. This is HNDRXX. This is me opening up and letting it all out so I can moved past it and certain things, I won’t have to speak on it again.”
