Every now and then, an event pops up that I can’t help but spread the word about – or in this case, be involved with. For the first time ever, the multi-talented director and tastemaker Vashtie is bringing more than her ‘NY Sweetheart’ attitude to the city, but also her 1992 Party.
In 2006, Va$htie co-created the 1992 Party to revitalize the New York nightlife, while bringing back a moment in time that breathed nothing but good vibes and great music. The party has stretched from New York to Miami, and even overseas to Paris and Amsterdam. Attaching itself to names like Q-Tip, DJ Premier, The Clipse and Jay Z amongst others, 1992 is known to bring tastemakers and celebrities together to reminisce and dance the night away.
With the venue packed full of 3000 anxious fans, The Wu-Tang Clan (Minus RZA & Masta Killa), took the stage to bless the Canadian crowd with a live performance of some of their most classic material. Setting off the show with “Da Mystery of Chessboxin’,” “Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber,” and “C.R.E.A.M.,” ODB’s spirit was felt throughout the venue when the “Shame on a N*gga” instrumental hit the speakers. Method Man surprised the crowd, as he was unable to make the Montreal show, and did his signature crowd-dive/surf.
With many fans knocking this event off their bucket lists, the Clan made sure not to disappoint, bringing a high-energy and interactive experience for concert-goers.
Shoutout to Walder for the footage.
Sunday, October 20th, we will be celebrating the birthday of Grammy Award-winning producer Boi-1da at T|I|M|E nightclub in Toronto.

King Of The Dot releases some more footage from their World Domination 4 event. This one is the battle between DNA and Charron.
With Eazy-E getting the hologram treatment the other night, fans were treated to ODB making a hologram appearance during WU-Tang’s set at Sunday night’s Rock The Bells event.
