Who’s ready for another documentary?! Similar to their series on Chicago’s hip hop scene A$AP Rocky, Noisey will debut a 10-part series on Atlanta’s rap world with closer looks into the lives and times of the likes of Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Migos, Young Thug, ILOVEMAKONNEN, Mike WiLL Made It, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz, and many others.
The series goes behind the songs and into the trap houses, neighborhoods, problems, and solutions that have inspired the wheelhouse behind one of America’s most vibrant and influential music scenes. Also featuring appearances by the Atlanta Police Department, gang members, the ATL Twins and Curtis Snow (Snow On Da Bluff), they attempt to illustrate the lively rap scene and what that culture means to the city. The series begins next month January 13th. Check out the trailer below.

With the digital-only album set to drop on Christmas day, Fabolous gives us the full album trailer for the new project. ‘The Young OG Project’ hits iTunes on December 25th.
I’m from Michigan and completely support the Detroit vs Everybody campaign. There’s no debating who originated the movement, but it would be absolutely backwards for me to hate on any other group of individuals looking to showcase the unity in their city, especially after the negative connotations that have been made in the past regarding Detroit artists supporting each other. We’ve seen a lot of cities pitting themselves against everybody, but Long Island is the latest to create something tangible. Check out the trailer for “Long Island vs Everybody” below and keep your eyes peeled for the full release!

Today, Joey Bada$$ officially announced that his upcoming album B4.DA.$$ will be dropping January 20th, 2015, which also happens to be the young man’s birthday.
This is what he had to say:
“P.eace young world this is the Badmon Jozif and I just want to thank all of my supporters and fans for being so patient with me as I finished my first album. The wait is finally almost over and the release date is locked and loaded. After discovering my birthday falls on a Tuesday (the day of the week all albums drop) next year I decided to save the album drop for then (1.20.15). I thought it was the best time to cause a shift. It’s always been a goal of mine to drop a project on my birthday and the premonition has finally come into fruition. The number 120 is very unique and symbolic to me as well. My 1st album on my 20th birthday this was destiny.” – B4.DA.$$ P.eace!
Peep the Rik Cordero-directed trailer after the break.
