Drake Becomes First Rapper To Top Billboard Artist 100 Chart (News)

After Breaking two of his own Spotify records last week, Drake takes another accomplishment for the culture. Drake is now the first rapper to ever top the Billboard ‘Artist 100′ chart. This chart factors in almost everything Top 100 chart, Top album sales, streaming, radio airplay, & social media fan interactions. According to billboard.com Drake’s surprise release was 73% of the data contributing to his #1 spot. Previously Drake had peaked at #13 but never fallen below #33, since the chart was released. This also makes Drake the 3rd R&B act to ever take hit #1. Salute to the team for all the hard work. As I said in my review of “If You’re Reading This Its Too late” everyone should be very VERY afraid. This is just the beginning for Drake & OVOsound.

Exclusive: A (Slightly Bias) Review of #IYRTITL (By @BIGNOAH256)

If You’re Reading This Its Too Late…I’m already going to tell you how fire this Drake mixtape is, and from a completely honest and none biased perspective. Okay, maybe slightly bias.

This past November, Demar Derozan told the world Drake would be dropping a mixtape in January, but let’s be real, basketball players aren’t necessarily the most reliable sources in rap music at the end of the day. But already, at this point I was emotionally attached and invested into the idea of Drake dropping a mixtape. To let you know how real it is, I even went and bookmarked when the Atlanta Hawks played the Raptors this season. And just incase Drake didn’t release this mixtape, I was going to the game & Demar was going to catch this fade for playing with my emotions. You can’t lie about Drake dropping a mixtape after the lackluster year we had in 2014; at least a lackluster year in my opinion.

On February 12th at exactly 10:04pm, that storm everyone was waiting on finally hit.

Entitled “If You’re Reading This Its Too Late”. Drake made the world freeze IN ONE TWEET. #DIGITALDRIZZY #ThatBoyOnFire #ThatAintNoMixtape #ElliottWilsonToldYall #WayUp
