Newcomer Nitty Scott, MC has already opened for talented artists like Kendrick Lamar and Q-tip. Her track Doobsicles (doobies and popsicle sticks) reminds hip-hop lovers of classic productions by legendary groups like A Tribe Called Quest and The Pharcyde. Nitty Scott’s ability to rhyme on this beat is also something to take into consideration, as she attended John Jay Secondary School for Journalism. This female MC’s flow could arguably be comparable to MC Lyte’s.
